Fenton High School’s Online Registration
Annual school registration is required of all families. Fenton High School uses an online registration process directly through your PowerSchool Parent Portal account.
All students must be registered by August 7, 2026, to have an active course schedule for the 2026-2027 school year. Please consult the mailing you received at the end of June, as well as the information listed below on this page. If you did not receive a mailing, please contact the registrar’s office at (630) 860-4794.
Fenton’s registration portal opens July 6th, 2026, and is completed through your parent/guardian PowerSchool Account.

Returning Students
Returning parents can Click HERE or on the image above to log into your PowerSchool Parent Portal account. The username and email address associated with your account can be found on the cover letter of the registration packet.
If you forgot your password, click the "Forgot Your Username or Password?" link at the bottom of the login screen and enter your username and email address. An email will be sent to the email address associated with your account. The email will contain instructions for resetting your password.
New Students
If you have an 8th grader that will be attending Fenton High School in the fall, you will need to create a PowerSchool Parent Account before completing the Registration Form. Please consult the registration mailing you received for the information needed to create your account.
Click HERE to create your PowerSchool Parent Account using the Access ID and Password provided to you for your student.
To register, you will need to have an email address. If you do not have one, you can create one for free using Google Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo. Be sure to save your email address and all new passwords for continued access to your PowerSchool Parent Portal account.

Fee Waiver
All families can apply for their school fees and fines to be waived in accordance with Board Policy 4:140. Fenton High School charges fees for textbooks, consumable materials, extracurricular activities, and other school student fees. Students must also pay fines for the loss of or damage to school books or other school-owned materials.

Need In-Person Assistance?
Assistance with your PowerSchool account, the online registration portal, and fee waivers is available via phone at (630) 766-2500, and in-person at Fenton High School on the following dates and at the times listed below. No appointment is necessary for walk-in registration assistance.
- Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. – July 15 through August 6
Transfer Students
Students must be enrolled at Fenton prior to registering for classes. If your student did not attend Fenton last year, and you did not receive a registration packet in the mail, please contact our registrar as soon as possible to begin the enrollment process.
Similarly, if your student is transferring out of Fenton, please contact our registrar as soon as possible in order for student records to reach your new school on time.

Below are important dates pertaining to the start of the 2026-27 school year:
- July 6, 2026 – Annual registration portal opens
- August 7, 2026 – Last day to complete registration
- August 11, 2026 – Bison Sneak Peek Night from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
- August 5, 2026 – Book, supply, and Chromebook pickup from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- August 6, 2026 – Book, supply, and Chromebook pickup from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- August 13, 2026 – Freshmen Orientation
- August 19, 2026 – 1st Day of School
