In lieu of what would have been the 95th ANNUAL BAND AND CHOIR CONCERT, a series of YouTube videos seen below are the FHS Holiday 2020 "concert."
They are a demonstration of what the Music Department has been working on this "2nd Quarter". The students prepared both individually (practicing with practice tracks), and in live rehearsals and sectionals. We are so very proud of these students and all of their hard work!
Enjoy, and happy holidays!

Just like our Fall "virtual" concert, the ensemble performances you will hear have been created by each student submitting an individual track of themselves singing and then we used a program to layer each track to make the choral sound. Thank you to the students who submitted their voices to be a part of this performance. While nothing about virtual choral performances is perfect, it is an awesome way to demonstrate all of the hard work and learning done by our students.

In the band video, you will hear the members of the Concert Band, Symphonic Winds, & Jazz Bands perform some favorite holiday songs.
The students of the Concert Band & Symphonic Wind Ensemble chose their own groups to collaborate with. They also chose their own music to perform from a list of songs. They then recorded themselves and created their own backgrounds and accompaniments using Soundtrap. Soundtrap is a Digital Audio Workstation, or DAW!
