Due to the resignation of Board Member Cary Lewis, the Board of Education of Fenton Community High School District 100 is accepting letters of interest and applications for an appointment to fill the vacant seat on the Board of Education. Fenton Community High School District 100 would like to thank Mr. Lewis for his 6 years of dedicated service, including his service as the Board President.

The duration of this appointment to fill the vacancy is until the next school board election on April 6, 2027. The Board intends to seat the new member no later than the September 23, 2026, regular Board meeting.
 
Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years or older, a resident of Illinois and District 100 for at least one year, and a registered voter. Required application materials must be submitted to Keren Vasilikos at the Fenton Community High School 100 District Office and received by 3:30 PM on Friday, August 21, 2026.
