Latino Heritage Month Kermes is October 7
Fenton’s newest fundraiser returns on Saturday, October 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mark your calendar for a day of food, music, face painting, and games.
 
 
Important: due to construction at Fenton the Kermes will take place at White Pines Golf Club, 500 W. Jefferson Street, in Bensenville
 
 
School Board Member Leo Figueroa and Superintendent James Ongtengco
 
 
This annual event was spearheaded by School Board Member Leo Figueroa, who will spend several nights helping prepare the many different dishes available for purchase. The menu typically includes Tacos, Gorditas, Tamales, Sopes, Tortas, Enchiladas, Fried Tilapia, Fresca, and more!
 
 
A tamale take out sale is also available ahead of the Kermes, from 9 to 11 a.m. No reservations necessary but this is a pick-up only opportunity. 
 
 
This is a family-friendly event is co-sponsored by the Bensenville Park District and open to the public. Remember, all proceeds benefit Fenton students!
