2nd Annual Spring Kermes at Fenton May 6, 2023

Fenton’s newest fundraiser returns on Saturday, May 6. Mark your calendar for a day of food, music, face painting, and games.

This annual event was spearheaded by School Board Member Leo Figueroa, who will spend several nights helping prepare the many different dishes available for purchase. The kermes is a family-friendly event is co-sponsored by the Bensenville Park District and open to the public.
 

Our tentative schedule is as follows:

• 10:00 a.m.       Start serving food
• 10:00 a.m.       5K Dash
• 10:30 a.m.       Soccer Tournament
• 10:30 a.m.       Assorted games and face painting for children
• 11 to 3 p.m.     Music program including Mariachi Band, DJ, and Grupo Norteno Band

The food menu will include:

• Tamales
• Relleno
• Flautas
• Tortas
• Pescado
• Tacos (Barbacoa/Pastor/Carne Asada)
• Sopes
• Enchiladas
• Frito
• Elotes (in a cup)
• Coctel Fruta

Beverages will include:

• Chocomilk
• Sodas
• Agua Sabor
• Agua Botella
• Atole
• Champurrado

Fenton will not be able to process credit cards. Patrons will need cash to purchase tickets that go toward food menu items.


Remember, all proceeds benefit Fenton students!
