Travis Hall for Heroes Scholarship
The Travis Hall for Heroes Scholarship was established in 2024 to honor a local teenager who provides dinner to nearby fire departments on September 11th every year for more than a decade by fundraising and soliciting restaurants for food donations. His goal was to show appreciation to first responders for their sacrifices on September 11th 2001 and for being on-call for all potential future emergencies. This scholarship is funded by the Bensenville Fire Protection District and the Wood Dale Fire Protection District.
