Bison Cultural Connection

Last spring, Fenton applied for a competitive grant called the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant. Fenton along with District 2 were recipients of the five-year-grant. Below is a quick summary of the grant, and how it will be implemented at Fenton. The purpose of the grant is to provide students after school enrichment opportunities in the areas of art, music, fitness, social emotional, and tutoring. Starting this January, we began to offer our students the following after school and Saturday opportunities, which we will call Bison Cultural Connections.

Snacks will be provided and bus transportation will be available at 4:30 during the week but students will need to provide their own transportation to participate in the Saturday programs.

Bison Cultural Connections has two coordinators, our Community Coordinator is Mr. Simon Sanchez and Daily Coordinator is Mr. Tom Cantlin. We are very excited about Bison Cultural Connections, and encourage your children to participate.
