Fenton High School Football Program Recognizes First Responders

The Fenton High School Athletic Department, Board of Education, staff, students and Administrators will be honoring the heroes of September 11, 2001, and those who serve today, at the September 14, 2018 football game. The ceremony will begin at 6:40pm.

In attendance will be the first responders from the Bensenville, Wood Dale and Elmhurst Police and Fire Departments along with our honored Veterans from the local American Legion and VFW posts.

We encourage all students and staff to attend the pregame tailgate festivities to remind them  of the sacrifice and commitment of those who gave their all on 09/11 and those who continue to serve today.

To assist in this commemoration, the Fenton High School Marching Band along with the Fenton and DePaul College Prep, local members of the Military, Police, Fire Fighters, and other first responders will assist and participate,  read the Firefighters Prayer followed by the Coming Home Bell Ringing.

Signs of Suicide (SOS) Parent Night

The adolescent years are marked by a roller-coaster ride of emotions—difficult for students and their parents. It is easy to misread depression as normal adolescent turmoil; however, depression (among the most common of mental illnesses) appears to be occurring at a much earlier age.

To proactively address these issues, Fenton High School is offering depression awareness and suicide prevention through the Signs of Suicide (SOS) program.

We are offering a parent evening to give further information about the SOS program and how to recognize and help your student if you have concerns.
