Juniors, we are counting on you. The APES classes are involved in an experiment that tries to count the number of Juniors in the school. In order to do this, today (Thursday) the 5th hour class will be "tagging" juniors during the passing period with a clothespin. We ask that if you get "tagged" you have the clothespin visible during passing periods for the rest of the day. As a thank you, you will be able to keep the clothespin! We thank you for your help!

Boys Bowling

An informational meeting will be held after school -  Thursday, October 14th in room 403. Any boys interested in bowling this year should attend. Please contact coach Baker if you can not make it or have any questions.

Homecoming Week Events

Friday: Superstar Bison: Show your Bison Pride by wearing orange and blue

Homecoming Bonfire

Attention all students—Don’t miss the Homecoming Bonfire—TONIGHT starting at 7pm near the Football field. We know that there has been a little bit of rain in the forecast lately, but we are still planning on hosting this fun event. There will be free food, a DJ, giveaways, games hosted by Mr. Cassidy, introduction of the fall sports, and announcement of the Homecoming Court. The event will end with the lighting of the Homecoming Fire. If it is raining, the backup location is in the field house. We will move all activities into the field house (except for the Bonfire, of course). Please have a mask with you in case the event moves indoors at the last minute. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Latin Flavor Mix Dance

Latin Flavor Mix Dance: Tickets for the Latin Flavor Mix Dance will be on sale in the bookstore starting Monday, October 4 and ending Friday, October 8th. If you like to dance bachata, merengue, cumbia and more, you should attend this dance. Tickets are $10. The dance is Saturday, October 16 from 7:00pm - 10:00pm at White Pines. Tickets will not be sold at the door and must be purchased this week.

The PBIS Be REAL focus this week is on A-Appropriate. Each day we will highlight what it means to be appropriate in different areas in the building. Today we start with arrival and departure. When you are appropriate, you follow the Fenton dress code, use proper language with appropriate volume and tone, and you keep your hands to yourself. It is important that you practice these behaviors to not only show others that you are appropriate, but to also help make Fenton the best place to be. Using these behaviors during arrival will show others you know what it means to be appropriate when coming to and leaving from school.

Hello students, Please come join Kaleidoscope for our first open mic of the year this Wednesday, October 12th, from 3:30-4:30 in the Community Room. Enjoy some food, drink, and amazing writing from your fellow Fenton students! Show up to read or just to hang out and listen. See Mr. Escobedo with questions!  Thanks.
