1999 Inductees

James J. Arrigo - Class of 1977

James Arrigo has been owner and president of Arrigo Enterprises DBA Arrigo Dodge since 1990. Based inWest Palm Beach, Florida, Arrigo Dodge is the largest Dodge dealership in the state of Florida and 17th largest in the nation. Within the automobile industry, he has served as president of the National Automobile Dealer Association Dodge 20 Group, president of the Florida Automobile Dealer Advertising Board, and board member of the Dodge National Dealer Council.

Mr. Arrigo was named Palm Beach County Entrepreneur of the Year in 1996. He has also been owner and president of Arrigo Sports Management, and O & A Sports Management since 1998. James' many community activities include sponsoring the Arrigo Dodge Director Cup to raise money for college scholarships. James holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Western Illinois University.



Colin A. Brady Class of 1987

While working for Pixar, Colin Brady was lead animator of the movie Toy Story, directing animator for two Toy Story CD-ROMs, supervising animator for the movie, A Bug's Life, and director of Toy Story 2. Prior to working for Pixar, Colin was a character animator for Rhythm and Hues, Hollywood from 1992-93. While in that position he was animator of the character Binx the Cat in the film Hocus Pocus.

Additionally, Colin has worked as an animation instructor at the San Francisco Art Academy, and is a volunteer for MacLaren House for Abused Children, located in California. Colin Brady holds a bachelor of fine arts degree from the California Institute of the Arts.



Henry L. Mandziara Class of 1973 

Henry Mandziara is the lieutenant/shift commander of the Schiller Park, Illinois Fire Department. He is a specialist in the areas of hazardous materials, technical rescue, public education, firefighter instruction, and fire and arson investigation. He developed a grade-specific fire prevention and safety curriculum for pre-k through 8th grade students, and in 1991 received a certificate of merit for bravery.

Mr. Mandziara is an active community member, volunteering his time to many community organizations including School Districts 2 and 100, Bensenville Youth Commission, scouting, and the Bensenville Community Public Library. He will receive his bachelor' s degree in Fire Science Management from Southern Illinois University at the Chicago Fire Academy in 1999. 

Gary S. Sosniecki​ - Class of 1969 

Gary Sosniecki has been the recipient of nearly 100 journalism awards during his career. Among those awards are first place for freedom of information and community service from the National Newspaper Association (1985); five-time member of the Golden Dozen for Best Editorials from the International Society of Weekly Newspaper Editors; and winner of the Golden Quill, the top award for opinion writing from the International Society of Weekly Newspaper Editors (1996).

On the community level, Gary was able to initiate construction of a new community library in Seymour, Missouri. He holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism.
