Criteria: Must be current high school senior; must plan to enter a two- or four-year college in the fall of 2009; must be a legal US resident. There are four scholarships offered; students must meet additional criteria. For the RMHC/ASIA, the applicant must have at least one parent of Asian/Pacific-Islander heritage. For the RMHC/African American Future Achievers, the applicant must have at least one parent of African American or Black Caribbean heritage. For the RMHC/HACER, the applicant must have at least one parent of Hispanic heritage. Finally, for the RMHC Scholars, any student can apply regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin.
