Individual Sports
Individual Sports is a unit of instruction that offers each student a curriculum that will stimulate enthusiasm for learning and enable students to develop competency in various disciplines; assist each student in developing and maintaining sound physical, mental, and emotional health. The course provides each student with information that promotes intelligent and responsible participation and encourages each student to develop wholesome and
creative interests for personal satisfaction during his/her leisure time. Student goals will be reached through activities such as Bowling, Ice Skating, Swimming/Diving, Golfing, Frisbee Golf, Inline Skating, Bags, Horse Shoes, Shuffle Board, and a personal fitness unit.
Levels: 11 or 12
Semesters: 1 or 2
Credits: 1 or 2
Note: A $25 fee will be charged per semester to cover the cost of Bowling and Golf.
