Fenton’s Health Education course meets daily for one semester of the freshmen year. The topics of instruction and discussion are: public and environmental health, human growth and development; prevention and control of disease; nutrition; safety education and disaster survival; mental health and illness; personal health habits; alcohol, tobacco and drugs; interpersonal relationships; stress management; self-esteem and motivation; the systems of the body; and the theory and practice of first aid.
